Entry Level Trades Training Program

The ELTT course combines electrical theory and practical electrician training to prepare you for an apprenticeship in the electrical construction industry. It is the first step in an electrician's training.

Participants who successfully complete the course receive a certificate and credit for Level 1 technical training with the Industry Training Authority (ITA) related to the Construction Electrician (Electrical) apprenticeship program.

Topics include electrical theory and code, lockout procedures, fall arrest certification, safety awareness, WHMIS certification, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, confined space certification , Hilti shot certification, rigging and ladder safety training.

IBEW Local 213 Electrical Contractors request graduates from the Electrical ELTT program most often.

As a graduate of our Electrical ELTT course, you are given preferred access to IBEW L.213 apprenticeships, based on work availability.
